West Ham and Everton are looking to sign the Cape Verde striker Djaniny Semedo this summer.

According to a report from A Bola (translated by SportWitness), the two Premier League clubs want to improve their attack and they have identified the Al Ahli striker as a target.

Apparently, Wolves have gathered information about the player as well.

Semedo has 23 goals this season and he could prove to be a useful option for them. The 28-year-old has also picked up 8 assists in 29 appearances for the Saudi Arabian club.

The player has a contract until 2022 and it will be interesting to see if the two clubs can agree on a fee with Al Ahli.

The Saudi club paid €10m for the player and they will be looking to make a considerable profit.

Both clubs are in desperate need of goalscorers and Silva/Pellegrini should look to break the bank for Semedo if they believe in his quality.

The 28-year-old is at the peak of his powers right now and he could make a big difference for either club next season.

With the likes of Carroll and Hernandez expected to leave, West Ham could certainly use someone like Semedo.

Both clubs have the financial muscle to pull this off and it will be interesting to see where Semedo ends up in the end.

Tottenham are thought to be preparing a big offer for the Real Madrid midfielder Marco Asensio.

According to El Confidencial (report translated by SportWitness), the Londoners want to sign the playmaker and they are preparing for an offer in excess of €100m for him.

Asensio has a €700m release clause and it will be interesting to see if Real Madrid are willing to do business for him this summer.

The Spaniard is highly rated at the club and he could develop into a real star for them in future.

Tottenham’s interest in the player certainly makes a lot of sense. Christian Eriksen has been linked with a move to Real Madrid and if he ends up leaving, they will need a quality replacement.

Asensio could be his ideal long term successor at Tottenham.

However, a €100m offer from Tottenham seems quite unlikely as it would shatter their club transfer record.

Daniel Levy has always been a shrewd spender and he hasn’t paid large sums of money for his targets in the past.

Having said that, the 23-year-old is a prodigious talent who can certainly justify the fee in the long run. Pochettino could help him fulfil his world class potential at Tottenham.

It will be interesting to see if Spurs can get their man this summer if the reports are correct.

Celtic are interested in re-signing Patrick Roberts this summer.

The Manchester City winger was on loan at Girona this past season and he has just one year left on his Etihad deal.

He is unwanted at the Premier League club and therefore he is likely to be on the market once again this summer.

As per the Sun, Celtic are keen on signing him.

The 22-year-old has played for the Scottish giants before and he might be tempted to return.

Roberts played some of his best football with Celtic and he should look to join them and kick start his career. He needs to play regularly at this stage of this career and he needs to regain his confidence.

The winger is adored by the Celtic fans and that could help him rediscover his belief and confidence.

It will be interesting to see if the Scottish club manages to agree on a deal with City now.

As per the report from Sun, Leicester City are keen on the player as well. Brendan Rodgers has worked with Roberts before and he knows all about the young winger.

It seems that he is keen on a reunion this summer.

The player is reportedly valued at £4m and Celtic should be able to afford it. They need to move swiftly and secure his services now.

Wolves are thought to be interested in signing the Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck this summer.

According to London Evening Standard, the player will be a free agent soon and the likes of West Ham, Everton and Wolves are hoping to snap him up on a free transfer.

The 28-year-old has recovered from his injury problems and he will be looking to get his career back on track with regular football now.

It will be interesting to see if Wolves make a move for the versatile forward.

On a free transfer, it could prove to be a useful signing for Nuno. Welbeck would be a good alternative to Jimenez.

Wolves will play European football next season and they will need more depth and quality.

Welbeck has the experience and quality to be of use to the Molineux outfit.

The Arsenal forward is currently on wages of around £100k-a-week as per Evening Standard and that could be an issue for Wolves.

The Molineux outfit will not want to pay that much for a squad player. Welbeck might have to take a pay cut in order for the move to go through.

Wolves fans have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts on his potential signing. Here are some of the reactions.

Newcastle are interested in signing the Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham this summer.

The player is on loan at Aston Villa right now and the Magpies will make a move for him if Aston Villa fail to secure promotion to the Premier League.

According to the Northern Echo, Newcastle tried to sign him in 2017 as well but the player chose to sign for Swansea City instead.

Abraham has scored 26 goals for Aston Villa this season and he would be a tremendous acquisition for Newcastle.

Benitez needs to bring in a quality goalscorer and Abraham has shown that he has the talent to thrive in the Premier League.

The Chelsea youngster has nothing left to prove in the Championship and he seems ready to make the step up.

With Salomon Rondon back at WBA, Newcastle are in desperate need of a number nine to fill the void. Abraham could get regular first-team football under Benitez next season.

He is unlikely to get the same opportunities at Chelsea and therefore he should look to join the Magpies.

It will be interesting to see where he ends up but there is no doubt that the transfer would be ideal for all parties.

West Ham have been linked with a move for the Liverpool right-back Nathaniel Clyne.

The experienced defender is up for grabs this summer and Sky Sports believe that the Hammers are keen on signing him.

Clyne has fallen down the pecking order at Anfield and he was loaned out to Bournemouth during the second half of this season.

Returning to Liverpool makes no sense for him and Clyne will be keen on a permanent move away from the Reds.

It will be interesting to see if West Ham can agree on a deal for him.

Zabaleta is well past his peak and Clyne would be a quality alternative. The Liverpool right-back is a good defender and he will improve West Ham at the back.

Also, he is at the peak of his powers right now and he can make an immediate impact for Pellegrini.

Apparently, Liverpool value the player at £15m. West Ham certainly have the resources to make the move happen.

The fans have already taken to Twitter to share their thoughts on the links with Clyne and here are some of the reactions.

‘Not keen on this’, ‘No thanks’ – Some Everton fans react to links with versatile 28-yr-old

Everton fans have shared their reactions to the links with Arsenal forward Danny Welbeck.

Yesterday we covered claims that the former England international could end up joining the Toffees this summer.

Apparently, Everton are leading the chase and they are willing to offer him a lucrative deal as well.

It will be interesting to see if Marco Silva manages to pull off the transfer. Welbeck will be a free agent this summer and the deal could prove to be a bargain for them.

However, it would still be a bit underwhelming for the fans. Welbeck hasn’t been at his best for a while now and he has had quite a few injury problems over the years. He is not someone who can improve them immediately next season.

Everton could do with a proven goalscorer and someone younger than Welbeck.

The Arsenal player is a versatile attacker who can play anywhere across the front three but he is more suited to a backup role.

Everton should concentrate on bringing in players who are ready to start for them.

Here are some of the tweets from the Everton fans regarding his potential arrival.
